Algebra notes for Wed. August 27, 2009
When doing algebraic expressions you always need to:
1. DO ONE STEP AT A TIME
2. DO ONE STEP PER LINE
4. GO LEFT TO RIGHT USING ORDER OF OPERATIONS
Example 1:
when n=3
evaluate - solve the expression
1st: substitute the number value in for the variable
2nd: going left to right and use order of operations
3rd do the math
Homework tonight:
Pages 5-7
#'s 3-15, 16-22 even, 24, 25, 26-42 even, 45, 51-53, 56, and 57!!
